Documentation of the planet known as Hoth is sparse and aged. Reports
from Imperial researchers conclude that the planet is unfit for human
settlement: Hoth is an ice planet with daylight temperatures averaging
about -32 degrees Celsius, and nighttimes a frigid -50. Life readings
were minimal, and nothing of any great note. Roaming the frigid, unfor-
giving snow plains were some Wampa Ice Creatures (hunted for its skin),
and its prey, the peaceful TaunTaun. Featuring no natural resources
worth mining as well, Hoth can be classified as a totally uninteresting
chunk of ice in a big, big universe.
