Plymouth is a colony world in the backwaters of known space, originally 
surveyed by the Pyrellian Corporation. It officially falls under the 
jurisdiction of the Corporate Sector Authority, which administers this 
region of space in the name of the Empire, but has been colonized most- 
ly by those wishing to escape the oppressive conditions of life under 
Authority rule. Fortunately, its apparent lack of easily exploitable 
wealth and abundance of dangerous carnivores and rugged terrain have 
led to its being all but forgotten by the Authority bureaucracy. 
Much of Plymouth, after the initial cursory survey, has remained un- 
or poorly-explored. New explorers are welcome to enjoy Plymouth's free- 
wheeling frontier life, but are warned not to start troubling the col- 
onists, who are able to defend themselves with vigor if necessary.
